Campaigns DOMESTIC ABUSE
Methodist Conference 2005 adopted a report on Domestic Abuse, which grew out of a Women’s Network social action project on Women and Violence.
The Report on Domestic Abuse and the Methodist Church: Taking Action is available from Methodist Publishing House www.mph.org.uk For details, look in the “Mission” section of the catalogue, then “Conference Reports”. Order no: PA338.
25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Resources for worship on the nearest Sunday can be found here
Good Practice Guidelines for the Methodist Church are available in draft form. We invite you to work with these and feedback to the task group on these before a final document is published. Copies can be ordered from Methodist Publishing House.

We are working together with other agencies to raise awareness of this issue. Where other organisations have produced suitable resources, we recommend them to you. We draw together those booklets and stories that we think will be helpful for churches and individuals as we work together to support victims and survivors, and raise awareness of their needs.
An information pack on Trafficking is available from the Editorial Office.
